Sieras almost bounced inside the mall doors, plush cat and money card in hand. After almost a week of living with Aubre, the neebu finally asked if Sieras hand ANY other clothing. When the akiari answered in the negative, her host gave her the card and pushed her out the door. The last thing she heard was "GET SOME CLOTHES....I'm so sorry!!!" followed by a small series of mumblings from the Treetle.
So Sieras got to the mall, intent to do as her new friend said, but...it was hard. There were so many colorful places. She opened her gold eyes in wonder, as she saw so many different places she could possibly go. Food stores, toy stores, book stores....So many...but no. She shouldn't. Aubre probably didn't have enough to allow her to buy all of what she wanted. So, she tried to ignore the lights and smells of strange and wonderful food; and went into a small clothes shop tucked away into an alcove.
She thought small, and it was in comparison to the other shops; but it was huge. Aisles of clothes categorized to the smallest detail. She looked around, her eyes big again. So many to choose from. She decided to head for shirts. She ran up the stairs, having too much energy for the hov-lift, and dashed to the section labeled 'Neebu Girl Tops.' She went through the mazes until she found a button up shirt of light pink. It was sprinkled with silver suns, and she thought she might like to wear something like that. And that light gray skirt over there too.
So she picked them out and started looking around for more clothes. Her being like she was, she almost had half the store in her arms before she noticed the price tags. With a sigh, she put everything back, and tried to find something nice and cheap. She didn't want Aubre mad or disappointed in her, she didn't handle those two emotions well. It would be devastating o Sieras if her friend held any negative emotion toward her.
She was in there for quite a while, always finding something better than the last thing she saw. It was agonizing when the prices kept going higher and higher; and yet she just couldn't decide what to wear. And it was getting long on time. She didn't want to stay in the mall forever, yet she just couldn't decide on what to choose. She was getting emotional and worried. She paced the clothes racks, her agitation rising. What to chose, what to DO?
Eventually, the nice decorative water containers along the wall started sloshing in the prisons. She didn't notice it, but most other customers did. Mutterings, pointing and speculation abounded, but she was oblivious to it all. She was near the end of her rope when a finger tapped her shoulder and a voice said "Excuse me miss...." Needless to say, she shrieked and the water formed little whirlpools before she calmed down and turned to the other person.
"Yes?"
