Detailed Appearance:
Leah uses a small gem stone for her containment suit. When she places it over the center of her chest, her shape will solidify. Her solid shape is all blue. Her hair is the lightest blue possible, almost white. It's length varies on what she prefers it to be, but it usually falls in large, lazy curls to her knees. Her skin is a milky white, very translucent as though it might vaporize under the slightest touch. If you look past her skin you'll realize that her insides are nothing but swirling air. Her eyes are slanted, much like a fairy's or pixie's. They are the exact color of the sky and reflect her mood. Normally they are a sunny blue with an occasional cloud passing through them. When she is sad they turn a cloudy grey, or when she is angry they will turn a stormy grey. If she's extremely angry, her eyes will even flash mini lightning flashes. Her height when she solidifies is normally around two and half feet. She'll usually float around on wisps of wind a couple feet off the ground. Her build is very lean, and she barely weighs a pound considering she was nothing but contained air. Her clothing consists of a large white shirt - like a pioneer's bed gown.
When Leah isn't solidified, she is little more then a voice in the wind or a small windy shape. Her voice has a whispery, silvery quality to it. It's not very forceful or loud unless she is upset. Then it will crackle and thunder like a thunderstorm. When she actually wants to be seen she is seen in a very similar way to her solid form. She is the same height, build, and body shape as her solid form. Only difference is that she's more see through and if you attempted to touch her your hand would most likely pass through her body. Her form is very child-like without any physical development.
Strengths:
- When she doesn't want to be found, she won't be.
- Rarely caught for anything she's done due to the fact she can vaporize if seen.
Weaknesses:
- Incredibly shy
- Can't resist the chance to prank someone
Skills and Abilities:
- If you haven't guessed it already, Leah has wind as the element under her control - weather is her specialty. Her skill with controlling wind is moderate. She cannot form storms, but she can pull medium-sized thunderstorms complete with thunder and lightning to whatever location she wants to. She can also push a storm from an area or scatter the clouds that form a thunderstorm. If it is trying to rain she may suppress the storm for a short amount of time. Or she can protect a smaller area for a longer amount of time.
- One of Leah's favorite things to do with her wind ability is to make people trip on air - quite literally.
- Other then that, she enjoys a wide variety of pranks and jokes all done by her wind.
- Leah does not need a translator. During her four thousand years on Earth she has learned to speak all of the alien languages. Although her pronunciation is not always perfect and her vocabulary could be larger, she does very well.
Personality:
Leah's personality is split into two sides. On one hand she is very playful. She adores playing pranks on people and finds it immensely amusing to watch their reactions and the reactions of those around that person. Never having felt any herself, Leah doesn't exactly understand physical pain - so she's not very careful about the types of pranks she pulls. Besides, a few broken bones is worth a good joke, right?
Leah's second personality is much more reclusive. Leah enjoys observing other lifeforms, but feels out of place. Because of this she tries to remain out of the way and unobserved. In fact, you may never see the Akiari that may have caused your greatest embarrassment. Nevertheless, Leah has had friends. She often makes friends with children. She is that 'imaginary friend' that we hear of so often. She'll stay with a child for as long as they want her as a friend, but as soon as adults have convinced the kid that Leah is nothing but their imagination or the kid them self decides that they are too old for such childish games as imaginary friends Leah will move on. She is no stranger to emotional anguish.
One of the reasons why Leah will often make friends with children is because they are always good for a laugh. They aren't too serious or grave or boring. But perhaps the main reason is that children can see her weaker form easier then adults. Children are more likely to investigate a curious sight than adults. An adult would most likely pass it off as a trick of the wind or something silly like that. Children, however, see Leah's form as a picture that needs to be colored in. They'll use their imagination to complete her image and voila. Instant best friend.
So to sum Leah up? She is a reclusive prankster who is the child's best friend.
Prized Possessions:
Her gemstone that holds her containment suit. She places it over the center of her chest and the suit comes out and solidifies her form. Other then that she owns very little.
History:
Leah grew up on Carsen 4, playing with all the other wind Akiari. She was the average Akiari, nothing special. She planned to live the rest of her life on her home planet until something unexpected happened. About three hundred years ago Leah had been sneaking around attempting to prank her friends when she overheard some of the scientists of Carsen 4 talking about planet Earth and how much the environment has degraded. Filled with curiosity, Leah stole one of the Akiari ships and headed off for Earth. Of course, she had no idea where this planet was and spent the next hundred or so years wandering the universe - trying to find a planet who's atmosphere was similar enough to Carsen 4 for her to stay at. Finally she found the correct coordinates for Earth and made her way there. While attempting to land, she encountered a freak storm that crashed her ship. She was trapped with no way off of Earth.
Here was a planet who's atmosphere was similar enough to her home planet to allow her to stay. Relieved to be free from the cursed ship she escaped into Earth's atmosphere. Unable to speak the languages, she spent next hundred years wandering Earth's surface. During this time she secured a gemstone to solidify her form from another Akiari secretly living as a human and a translator. The Akiari girl had been searching for a way home, but sometime during her hundred years on Earth Leah realized she had made a home on Earth and no longer wished to return to Carsen 4. Being a wind Akiari, she decided she would simply live in the atmosphere of Earth itself.

[/blockquote][/blockquote]N U N G Arespected sir"You are okay, these bird will not hurt you. Glancing about at the birds, he mentally touched their minds. Animals always have had, and always will have an extremely sensitive mind to what goes on about them. Due to this sensitivity, the birds either became quiet or flew to their roosting places. The Vishnu looked back at the Trasi, face long and severe.
Stately gentleman walked along the path, gazing down into each habitat with a bored expression on his face. What had possessed him to come down to the zoo? Was he missing his home planet that badly? Ignoring the dull ache in his side from the remembrance of his home, Nunga raised his head and strode quicker - with purpose in his step. He would go look at the Kauu habitat, perhaps that would alleviate some of this homesickness. The tall man mulled over his own thoughts as he continued to walk. Of course he had been chosen for this important mission. After all, who else was as wise and prestigious as he? Almost none could compare to this man's wisdom and power on Kauu. Remembering part of his mission here on Earth, he cautiously reached out to touch the minds of the others. He contacted a few other Vishnu's minds before the blocked him out. With a small grin, he overpowered them, reading their thoughts without caring how they felt about it. Finding nothing interesting, his thoughts turned towards the other races that surrounded him.
Many of them could not even feel his touch, pathetic swine. Shamelessly, the Vishnu adviser shifting through the thoughts of the surrounding aliens - finding nothing of interest. Suddenly, the Vishnu encountered a conversation. He quickly withdrew his mind, wondering who this was. From the presence he could sense, it was not several individuals - no. Rather it was a single individual. The Vishnu briefly wondered who had more then one person in his mind before he ventured out to touch the creature's - or creatures' - mind. Apparently the individual was a Trasi who had several conversations in his head involving individuals named Karazone, Carissa, Barr, and Mirka. The Vishnu listened in on the Trasi's mental conversation, both horrified and fascinated.
SO, HWERI. ARE WE GOING TO THAT GUN SHOP? I KNOW HOW TO CAUSE SOME DAMAGE TO THESE POOR, INSIGNIFICANT BEINGS.
"No I'm not, Karazone. Now leave it alone."
Yeah. Not everybody is as maniacle as you.
"Thanks Carissa."
Not a problem. I know where Your headed anyways. :D
:Where we goin, where we goin???????:
'.....'
"The zoo, Barr."
Nunga glanced about, searching for the source of this interesting conversation. Most obviously this Trasi, Hweri, had severe mental problems. Nunga had always wished to study one who had severe mental incapacities such as this. Perhaps if he found the robot creature it would allow himself to be studied. Still searching, Nunga began to push through the crowd of people, mind focused only on Hweri.
:Hey, Hey. I wanna see the Elepants.:
That's elephants, Barr Darling.
YOU KNOW, YOU COULD BUILD SOMETHING TO TURN ONE OF THOSE LUMBERING BEASTS INTO A WEAPON DESTRUCTIVE ENOUGH TO WIPE OUT THIS CITY. WHADDAYA SAY?
"Not gonna happen."
OKAY, SO YOU DON'T HAVE TO MODIFY ITS GENETICS. AN ELEPHANT IS PRETTY DESTRUCTIVE BY ITSELF. SO JUST BREAK OPEN THE CAGE-
'They're not in cages, you psycotic killer. They have Habitats. Know the difference and shut up'
YOU THINK YOU'RE SO TOUGH, MIRKA? HUH? FIRST THING I'M GONNA DO WHEN I GET THE HELM IS TO KICK YOU OUT OF THIS BRAIN. AND THEN I'LL DO SOME, MODIFICATIONS....
You'd take us with you, I presume. Not likely. You know that the 4 of us can override you.
A MERE TECHNICALITY ONLY. DON'T THINK JUST BECAUSE YOU'RE A WOMAN I WON'T HURT YOU.
You keep dreaming, Karazone. It ain't gonna happen....
Nunga caught sight of him just as the Trasi began to beat on the side of his head.
"Can you guys please be quiet? I want to go through this in a semblance of normalcy please."
YOU CHEEKY-
"Can it."
Semblance of normalcy indeed. To any mind reading alien Hweri stood out like a sore thumb. He was fortunate the other races were so blind to obvious ailments such as his - otherwise he would be shunned even more then he was now. Others were already giving him a wide berth, finding it strange that a Trasi would hit his head in such a manner. Soon though, the people who had noticed the Trasi passed, leaving the unsuspecting crowd to close back around Hweri, making following him nigh impossible were it not for Nunga's great height and Hweri's mind. When Hweri's mind quieted suddenly, Nunga lost track of the Trasi. Determined, he kept pushing through the crowd, mind searching frantically for Hweri's. After a minute, the Vishnu caught a glimpse the Trasi walking over by the aviary.
As Nunga drew closer the Trasi stopped cold in his tracks. Suddenly self-conscious of the way he had followed Hweri, Nunga slowed, keeping a wary eye upon the android. After a moment, Nunga was close enough to hear the Trasi's words, with a faint echo from his thoughts. "Oh great....Onithophobia. The fear of birds..." Across the connection between their minds came the rushing surge of fear. Although Nunga had no fear of birds himself, his mind was so intimately linked with Hweri's that Hweri's emotions became his own. After a couple of minutes of agony passed, the Vishnu managed to severe the connection. Instantly relief passed over him. He reached one shaking hand up to wipe his brow, finding glistening drops clustered there. The Vishnu breathed deeply to control his wild breathing and to calm his racing heart. Realizing the Trasi was still in that state of fear and shock, the Vishnu strolled over to the android.
Very carefully, he reconnected with the Trasi's mind. He was cautious to keep the connection strong enough so his thoughts could be made heard to Hweri, but also weak enough so he would not be over powered again by Trasi's irrational phobia.

yaaay~ such a long post. although a lot of that is contributed to the fact that hweri has so much discussion. xD
