Species:
Vishnu
Planet of Origin:
Kauu
Gender:
Male
Current Standing:
A highly respected advisor on his home planet, Nunga has a high ranking among all Vishnu for his wisdom and age.
Detailed Appearance:
Skin is a slightly lighter shade then most Vishnu's skin - this comes from his age. Hair is a deep deep, rich purple. Hair is cut in a bowl shape. Hair style accentuates long pointed ears. Eyes are the same color as hair. They are slanted(much like an elf's eyes). Eyes have a piercing quality about them. Face is slightly wrinkled, mostly from frowning all of the time. Lips are thin, and usually turned down. Nose is long and pointed downward as well. On his forehead sit three gems. The largest is oval and sits in the center of his forehead. Two smaller, circular gem sit on either side of this larger gem. All three gems are a deep emerald color. Nunga stands at seven foot four inches. His four arms are each long and lanky, as standard for his kind. His legs are also long and lanky. As Nunga moves he carries himself with incredible amounts of poise and dignity.
Strengths:
- High level of intelligence.
- Highly respected.
- Doesn't have any religion, so he doesn't worry about reporting to a 'higher life form(s).'
Weaknesses:
- Tends to be conceited.
- Is against much change - feels strongly about the 'old ways.'
- Doesn't care for other species, humans especially.
Personality:
Nunga is a highly respected advisor from his home planet. He believes strongly in the 'old ways' of the Vishnu. He's against the influence of other species. He prefers that all Vishnu live with their own kind, marry their own kind, and support their own kind. He finds the idea of inter-racial marriage the most shocking and disturbing thought. He despises those who would betray their kind with such an abomination.
Being a man of great power, Nunga is not afraid to use his influence for what he things is best. He's also been accused of shady dealings, though those have never been proven. Those who stand against him often disappear or meet a sudden death with mysterious circumstances. So, what can we learn from this? Don't cross Nunga - you will probably end up regretting it.
One of Nunga's major dislikes include humans, Rashida in particular. Why he dislikes her so much is unknown to anyone besides Rashida and Nunga. Nunga strongly dislikes anyone or anything that isn't Vishnu. So technology that isn't Vishnu, Neebus, Trasi, all of those are disliked by Nunga. He especially dislikes outdated technology. So every piece of his equipment is always the newest technology.
Another big dislike for Nunga is Inter-species' marriages. Nunga thinks this is totally and utterly unacceptable. If you marry a lower life form(anyone not Vishnu) that is the ultimate insult to Nunga and Vishnu everywhere. Some of the last dislikes of Nunga is not being in power, and not having the respect he feels he deserves for all he does to protect the Vishnu and their kind.
Some of the few things Nunga likes are as follows: Vishnu who respect him, Vishnu who follow what he says, being in power, controlling others, and having the final say. So he pretty much just likes being in control.
Over the many years Nunga has lived, he's had many opportunities to hone his psychic abilities. Nunga's natural abilities include being a telepathic, and controlling the wind. These are his strongest(*) skills. But he's also managed to learn telekinesis, feeling emotions, and to read past thoughts. Through telekinesis he can move small objects - no larger then a basketball - over a couple miles. To accomplish this, he has to have seen the object he is moving, and seen the location he is moving it to. It's a limited skill that he's slowly working on building up. For reading past thoughts, he can only read thoughts a week old. He's still learning on how to focus his mind appropriately to read older thoughts. On his feeling emotions, he can see strong emotions as colors. The weaker the emotion, the weaker the color which can be confused for another emotion/color. So he can only definitely define the stronger emotions, and guess at the weaker felt emotions.
His telepathic skills are suburb, surpassed by only a few Vishnu older then him. His wind controlling skills are only slightly better then average. He can control wind well enough where it will come when he calls, and he can pull a big enough gust together to lift him off the ground in a form of transportation. If he wanted to, he could life another as well. Few can protect their minds from his own probing mind.
* Even though wind is one of his natural abilities, he has spent very little time honing this skill. Should he choose to do so, it would take very little effort to train this skill. He has a natural talent for wind control.
Prized Possessions:
His reputation.
History:
Nunga's parents were middle class Vishnus. They weren't anything spectacular, but they weren't scum off the bottom of your shoe either. At Nunga's birth, his mother died. Nearly a decade later, his father died from a rare disease. Crushed and torn, he was sent to an orphanage where he learned to keep his emotions and thoughts to himself. When he was only a couple years from getting out of the orphanage, Nunga was adopted out to a rather prestigious family. There, his fortune seemed to make a turn to the better. From his new foster dad, he learned how to be clever and manipulate others to do what he wants. From his new mother he learned how to fit in with the 'rich people' society.
After he became an adult, Nunga began to manipulate his way into politics and soon had established himself as a 'voice of the people' or whatever. In other words, he had the support of the Vishnu people behind him, thus he had an easy ride to a position of high power -which would be his position as an advisor to Vishnu government.
Nunga often denies having any other parents aside from his adoptive parents. As far as they are concerned, he is their true son. Nunga also denies having any negative affects from being adopted, though that could be wrong. I suppose only time will tell if he really does miss his true parents.

Rashida gave a rather short, dry laugh. Oh yes, she really did have to wonder why.R A S H I D Asilent searcher"Well, for work. Every month we are supposed to get an update for all the new terminologies that enter the business competition. I have some colleges who update every week. Though why I honestly can't explain."
Rashida placed one slender hand on the back of the booth, and shifted from foot to foot. Something about walking about made her feet hurt. The tall girl never could stand for long periods of time. She contemplated sitting back down, but then decided she would just have to get back up again when she went to get whatever she and Aubre wanted. Suave girl turned her green eyes on Aubre as the girl began to speak. "Ah, that wouldn't be too bad. I haven't updated in years, most people can understand me, my words aren't that out-of-date are they? What exactly would you need updates for, at work I mean?" Rashida tapped her index finger as she considered her answer.
Rashida seemed to realize that Aubre was reaching out for a form of comradeship. Rashida was rather surprised when she learned that she could enter an easy conversation with the small mouse girl and hold it. A small smile turned up her lips. Aubre was trying to move past her fear of strangers - or so it seemed. The tiny girl's mind looked as though it was moving a mile a minute. Evidence of this was as follows. Aubre's eyes were slightly glazed over, as what happens when one is thinking hard. She had a rather pensive look on her face. Also, but not least, was the coming-to-be familiar look that usually meant Aubre was over thinking something. After a long moment, Aubre spoke, "... Nevermind ... silly, like I said, no need to waste your time with crazy theorems Miss Rashida." "If you're sure..." Rashida said, unwilling to really push the topic, but fascinated by it all the same. "I've always found conspiracy intriguing. How about you Aubre?" Rashida smiled, trying to quell any fears Aubre may have about the taller, older girl.
"I care...I mean.. sorry..........I am sure he would know...but why wouldn’t you care?" Rashida wasn't quite sure how to answer the younger girl's question. She started to answer, but then paused, and changed tactics. "It's like...knowing you should do that homework that due next week, but not really caring because you don't have to deal with the effects of it now. You may get to play longer, or hang out with your friends longer now - but you'll get a bad grade on it later. That is what it's like with caffeine. Adults know that they are going to pay for drinking it later, but they only care about now. They are addicted to it, need it to wake them up in the morning, or something like that. Do you get it...?" "Your sure? Okay Mis-- Rashida.....sorry about that, calling you Miss and all..." "Of course I'm sure Aubre," Rashida replied with a warm smile and a wink.
"......how?" "How?" Rashida repeated. "Good question. I suppose it is because I understand how important privacy. You know of the Vishnu, correct? Well one of their powers is reading minds. I tend to stay away from them if I can, because I don't like my private thoughts broad casted out to the world, or even to one other person who wasn't invited. It's kind of the same thing talking to someone. I may share something with you that I wouldn't want someone else to intentionally share. Understand?"

During the whole hair incident, Rashida didn't even have words. She attempted to relieve some of the tension by looking out the window or anywhere but Aubre's blushing face. At Aubre's muffled words, she looked back at the girl to see her face was buried in her hood sleeve, "It is pretty..and sorry it's a handful..and mine's ......okay I guess...I don't know..." Rashida attempted a smile which turned out to be rather weak. "Eh, it's not, er, you're fault." Rashida replied, a small tinge of pink on her cheeks. "And please don't get me wrong. I like your hair. I just didn't realize such a bright pink was suited to your tastes," the slender girl said in an attempt to turn the situation not so awkward. Aubre had the same thing, for almost at the same time, she said, "..I probably should save up the money for someone other than the gardener to cut it..." Rashida offered a polite laugh, and smiled - another attempt to hide the awkwardness.
"No you're not........" That simple statement was enough to cause Rashida to smile. She could really appreciate the courage it must have taken Aubre to go against something someone else had said. Aubre's next statement was so Aubre-like that it nearly made Rashida laugh aloud. Which she covered as a cough, of course. "Unless you’re sure..I have no right to disagree....age has nothing to do with it....at least in my opinion.." "If only others in my profession view this as you did." Rashida replied with a thankful smile. For the first time during a smile, Rashida's lips parted to show two even rows of white teeth.
"...Hrm?" Rashida tipped her head and shifted on her feet, waiting for an answer from Aubre. "I just wanted somewhere to si...." "Oh, sorry dear. I should have made myself more clear. What would you like me to get you from the food counter?" Rashida's face softened. Hopefully the mouse-girl wouldn't beat herself up about this simple misunderstanding. Aubre did seem to be that type of person though.
