Detailed Appearance:
Salome is 4'8", and like all those in her species, she has very tan skin, but overuse of her Candy Corn seem to make her a bit paler then normal. Her bands of color are White, Yellow, and Orange, in fact, 3 thin stripes lie on the left side of her face. Bands also exist inconstantly on her torso, legs, and arms. She utterly hates her white stripes, but feels she would miss them and probably wouldn't get rid of them. It's one of those things. Her bladder like extensions, what her parents call "Sall Sacks" are small for her race, this doesn't give her as much of a lift as normal, but they at least do not get in the way, besides, her wings are abnormally large, specially for her size, so they more then makes up for he Sall Sacks. Her eyes are Orange in color, but in the right light look more Amber. Salome's ears are more rounded then usual, but still, to her annoyance, point downward. She once read swirled ears are the new "it" thing. Her sunglasses are shaped like six pointed stars, and have a rainbow effect. All her cloths are tattered and neon in color, often being pink, blue, and green, anything other then her yellow, orange and white marks. Her favorite outfit is a tank top with a mini-mini skirt. Salome's hair is a brown color naturally, but she has dyed it so many colors it's now a tattered rainbow, put in two, what she attempts to call, pony tails, but they have been treated so much they point straight down and fray. She enjoys wearing heels, but when she parties, it's all about the pumps. Her face is angular, pointed, but not unlikable. In fact she would be called attractive by a good number of her race, and even by some humans, but is not beautiful.
Strengths:
- Amazing Dancer
- Shrewd business women
- Amazing DJ
Weaknesses:
- Gives into fads to often, to the point where she looses herself. Fads MUST be brightly colored.
- Has trouble saying "No", often gets into trouble.
- Addicted to Candy Corn, which is fine since she makes it, not so fine since it is a drug after all, and using all your product is a bad idea.
Personality:
Salome is a party girl, she spends nearly every night in the clubs on Earth, frequenting a place called "The Pits," but really she'll go just about any where and try anything. She loves dancing and music, it's the most alive part of Earth for her. Salome thinks of music as an expression of colors made into sound. The entire world is gray to her, except when music is around... or drugs. Her house is devoid of music, but there are enough colors and love in it, so she doesn't really mind. When she's not at a party, she's either taking a breather(not likely) making a sale, or sleeping. Even then she sleeps at some really lame parties. She never drinks, and the only drug she does is Candy Corn, or CC, without CC she is fine, but she would rather have it then not. She's always listening to music, she even got an implant that plays any song downloaded on it. Salome doesn't discriminate, she'll sell drugs to any one and be friends with any one so long as they know how to party. Except vampires, she'll only deal drugs to them if she's in a tight spot. Aside from music and drugs, Salome loves her boyfriend Dali. Dali means the world to her, and if he asked her to quit the drugs, the party's, the wild nights, she would, just to run away with him. Salome for the most part is easy going, the only thing that makes her mad is the law. Apparently selling drugs is wrong. She does like police though, they are some of her biggest clients. Salome has a large number of friends, mostly because everyone she meets is a friend! Except vampires. She even gets along with bugs! What she can't STAND though are cliches. She'll be nice enough, maybe even be their friends, she'll definitely party with them and sell them drugs, but she won't lend them a buck, which for any one who knows Salome, they know is a big deal.
Prized Possessions:
Salome isn't into material things, the only thing she MUST have is her "kit". He kit is what allows her to make CC, a drug made from household, or easily found substances. CC's only effects are a radical change in how you view things. Everything becomes brighter, and the colors warp into even more amazing colors. A blue sky will become purple and orange, tress become pink and yellow, and so on. CC has other effects based on race, Humans become slightly weaker, to about the strength of a 6 year old, but regain their strength after the effects of the drug are over. Neebu start to shrink over time and loose a very small amount of hair, scales, etc. that return over time. Vishnu become stupid and stay stupid with prolonged use, but doesn't effect their powers. Choroid's gills close up as long as the drug lasts, overuse makes the coral brittle. Trasi generally can't take the drug because of they are robots, but the organic ones have a number of side effects. Sallons'd have almost no side effect(Salome made sure of it) but over use makes their skin lighten up a few shades, Salome is the 2nd most extreme example, the first being a peach colored Sallons'd. Vampires become etremly hungry, so Salome almost never sells to them. Were beasts can't change into their other form(animalistic or their original shape) while the drug lasts. Echani get either very hot, or very cold wile taking CC. Salome's boyfriend Dali once hypothesized(back before he was an idiot) the drug either brings out the best, the worst, or eliminates what ever makes the species special. Side effects aside, people eat up CC like, well, candy for its mood elation, fast feeling, and change in colors.
History:
Salome was born and raised on Earth. Well, on Touchdown. Her family were poor coming here, and are still poor to this day. At one point Salome's father struck it big at a casino down on earth, but all that cash was gone, blown on a trip to the mother planet to visit family. Salome had heard stories of Heritite, but none of them compared with the real thing. The colors! at 14 Salome had never seen such colors! Even their house, painted on the inside to become a technicolor extravaganza had nothing on Heritite! Not only the buildings, but the very planet was colorful! Salome was only there a month, their visa's running out, but during that time something inside of her changed. Back on earth she made it her mission to recreate the effects of her planet. She tried technology at first, but this only created the colors, and none of the feeling. at 18 Salome was already big into the club scene, and was very familiar with drugs. Inspiration stuck while doing some E. Salome got to work, and after a year found the perfect blend of secret "herbs" and "spices" to create her new drug. By then her nickname of Candy Corn had already stuck, so her drug was called the same by proxy. Once CC hit the streets, Salome became big on the club scene, being the only creator of an extremely popular drug that no one could figure out how to make because of a "unknown" ingredient. Salome can now be seen at any major party and event(maybe even the high class ones) hustling her drug with her boyfriend, a Vishnu named Dali, with average human intelligence, and far below average vishnu intelligence.
Roleplay Sample:
Guy hoped things would stay a bit quiet for the moment, with the squad now smashed to pieces. She looked up, and frowned. She didn't have any gadgets she could use to stop that roof from sliding right off the top of the building towards the back of the bar. She really could care less what was back there, but she grasped that other people would, and while it wasn't her problem, she did stand, grab her wind cutter, and slashed at the roof a dozen or so times, throwing wind blades at it, cutting it apart and letting much smaller pieces continue to fall in the same direction, much less damaging than one large one.
[...]
Guy had to protect this amazing bomb. It was chaos wrapped in metal, and she couldn't just let it go to waste. Major was still using his own style, and was moving slower than he had been earlier because of the booze. Not much slower, but slow enough. Slow enough that the amount of physical combat Guy has done in his life put them at least on the same level for the moment.
She dodged the kick to the chin by nearly two inches, and turned to make sure the bomb was in one piece, which it was. She polished it up a bit while Major wasn't directly facing him. She didn't expect Major to take the fight seriously, but he didn't want to take the risk, either.
