The Character
[/size]Name:
Louise Katrina Rakan
Aliases:
Proxy
Age:
50 years, but because of her hybrid mix, appears to be about 17 years old
Species:
Hybrid Human/Echani
Planet of Origin:
Earth- while her Father was Echani, he was exiled due to his disregard of the laws and traditions, and after the death of her mother, they had nowhere to go apart from Earth. She has lived there every since.
Gender:
Female
Current Standing:
While she is still young, she took an immense liking in human technology- and is vey good with it. She works as what people would call an illegal computer hacker/programmer, and does it freelance or on commission, gaining enough money to live quite comfortably, though most of her spare cash is used on upgrades, new and old technology that she can alter to her liking and sell.
Detailed Appearance: Because of her Echani bloodlines, she has never really been able to fit in completely with the humans- she is quite clearly part alien. She stands at about 1 metre seventy, and is considered to be lighter then the average human- about fifty kilos. She is rather slender- while she can’t last very long in a fight against someone stronger, but is very fast and flexible- watch out if she’s got a weapon on her hands- she’s part Echani, which means she can put a hell of a lot of force behind her swing.
Like all Echani, she has very pale skin that seems to glow in dim light, and on her face are two blue glowing markings that sit under her ‘human’ eye (her left). Her human eye is a light green, whole her right eye is an Echani eye that changes depending of the moods around her. While she is usually found in regular human clothes, she sometimes goes abstract and wears the altered version of her Father’s Echani combat robes- she wears them only around people she trusts- for too many years she has been looked down upon by her peers about her bloodlines.

Personality:
“Compared to most people I’m quiet. I try and always have a positive outlook on life, though it’s not really getting me anywhere, so I usually have a sarcastic voice and I don’t see the best or the worst of a situation, I see the reality. Life’s tough, but you’ve gotta get past that and live your life. You’ve only got one, after all. When it comes to new people, I suppose you’d call me shy, but once you’ve gained my trust you’re good to go. Dad always said that whenever I was grumpy I could really get worked up- I suppose that hasn’t changed. Don’t bring out the bad side of Proxy, or I swear you will live to regret it.
As for little kids, keep them away from me. They annoy me to no end. All their- call me a hypocrite- questions, their whiny voices and all the bloody sooking they do. Frustrating- I can never understand why some people are so hell bent on helping them. They smell, they cry and they can’t do anything for themselves. Waste of space if you ask me- if I were Dad, I would have left me for the Elders.
I’m not self conscious in the slightest- I don’t give a care what others people think about me, my clothes or my hair. It’s what’s on the inside that counts said some famous dead human, and that’s one of the mottos I live by. Geez, what else can I say? I don’t dwell on the past in the slightest, never look back at what could have been ‘cause it’s a waste of time. Never look back- there’s another motto. Live each day as if it’s your last, all that crap.
I’m far from a daydreamer- I like to keep my feet on the ground and I hate it when my mind goes wondering. It’s a waste of life. But saying that, I think there is a creative side to me. I love music, and I picked up guitar a few years back. I like to sing- I think I’m getting better, but who’s the judge of that?
All up, I’m pretty average I’d s’pose.”
Prized Possessions:
Cornelius- You could not ask for a better companion. He’s more then a little friend- he’s part of my family, and a good friend. He’s a young wolf/cyborg hybrid, and a quirky little one at that. He doesn’t have a proper voice box yet- that’s okay though. Right now he can communicate by tapping into past and present radio waves of earth, and picking out bits of dialogue and songs. A pretty nifty trick if you ask me.
Sword When I turned fifty, Dad believed that I should go through something like the trials- Echani was in my blood, and although I wasn’t pure, he still thinks that I should be taught the ways of the Echani-embrace their culture in a slightly less dramatic way. He taught me how to control my emotions, and while I don’t go with the whole ‘no love’ thing, I still enjoy the combat side. Dad and I forged a small sword together- my final test. I passed, and I got to keep the sword.
Laptop My first laptop. I have cracked so much on that thing that I am amazed it still works. I love it to bits, and when I’m having trouble on the more high tech stuff I own, I go to it. Faithful little device.

History:
“Where the heck do I start? Do I start when I was born? When my parents married? When they fell in love? When our ancestors started crawling out of the mud and started to walk? I don’t know, but I suppose my parents meeting is a good place. Well, I mentioned how Dad is Echani, so I better explain how I came about. Well. My Dad was representing the Echani in this big peace keeping thing a few years back. Long story short, he met Mum and they fell in love. Dad had to go home back to his home planet- Cazna- and he did, but because Echani disapprove of emotion completely, pretty much. They found out- he had mood swings, and was getting angry at authority. Mum, who had been hiding out of Canza, was found by some scouts. She was going to be executed and he was to be exiled. When in the trial he escaped with my Mum- I won’t go into details ‘cause I don’t want to put my Dad in any more danger. He realised that in the few months apart Mum had grown heavily pregnant- it was me. Because of the different time cycles and the fact that I was part Echani, Mum’s pregnancy only lasted half the time of a regular Human. Fearing that the Echani would kill us all if we stayed, we took a shuttle off planet, and set route for Earth.
Not that we needed anymore bad luck, we were attacked by a space gang- the shuttle was heavily damaged and Mum was taken hostage- I was still unborn at that point in time. Yeah- I had a real easy time as an infant. Dad escaped with Mum in one of the pods- just as she started going into labour. It happened really quickly apparently, and then I was born. Three hours we sat in orbit after I was born, and then something hit us.
Dad believes it was a meteorite or something of the sort- space debris.
We crashed onto the surface of this planet- Earth. Mum didn’t make it. Dad, although he was crazily grief filled and unable to control his emotions found the will to move, to save me. I can’t remember anything from that Dad, and I’m sort of glad for it, but I can’t help but wonder what Mum would have looked like. Dad said she looked like me, but I’m not sure.
Dad found a city- this one- and without any money, he searched for a source of income. He took out various bounties on criminal figureheads, and although they were named by the law criminal, he could never bear to take the killing bounties. He said that they were the worst ten years of his life. I grew up, and he started a small self defence school that he still runs time to time. I went to school- like all the human kids, and I got teased all the time for my strange appearance. It was hard, but I got through it- graduated- and then I started doing what I do best. Hacking. I go under the name Proxy, and for the twenty years I have bee working on and off on as freelance/commisione base. Sometimes I do it to make my bills cost not quite as much. Sometimes I do it for fun. Dad knows about it, and he doesn’t entirely approve, but he respects the choices I’ve made for myself.
When I moved out he gave me Cornelious, and he’s been my constant companion for years now. He never seems to age, but that’s alright. Just means we’ll be together for as long as we can be.
Roleplay Sample:
My wolf Agent from SFS. this is an average post for me- not spectacular, but not too bad either. Hope it’s okay ^^
--
“Agent.” A childish giggle distracted him from his silent brooding, and he raised his head, watching almost with a look of distaste as a lanky brown she-wolf flopped down beside him, her tail beating against the concrete on which she lay. The ashen delta sighed slightly, flicking his ears back and his eyes elsewhere, but it didn’t seem like the wolf was going to leave. Females. She looked at him almost attentively, and Agent moved slightly away from the lanky female, frowning and grunting slightly. He recognised her after a moment of looking- she was one of the Omegas of the Pack- she had some nerve coming out here to annoy Agent.
“You’re sooo stuuuupid,” She giggled, and he flicked his ears back in annoyance, trying to ignore the crazy brown wolf. He had seen her before, wandering around various places in the city, and he realised that she was Mux, that’s her name. Omega. Her parents were Deltas. Hmn. She held a straight face not unlike his own for a moment, before collapsing into another fit of giggles, covering her nose with her paws, grinning. “What are you doing, silly goose? That water never did anything to you. What’s a’ matter?” She asked, poking him gently with the end of her paw, scooting back and he glared at her, his icy eyes hard on the omega.
“What does it matter to a little omega what I am doing?” He snapped, looking away in the same manner that a grumpy teenager would, standing and shaking the water out of his thickening winter pelt. He surprised himself with his anger, and he flexed his paws uneasily, taking a few more steps away from her, tossing his head. It seemed like all of the Pack wolves wanted to know everything lately- it was irritating. He just wanted some time alone- he had to make new plans after his last ones had failed. “And for your information, I am quite obviously not a bird,” He growled, his anger subsiding into something else now. Why? Why did everyone suddenly want to…affiliate themselves with him? He had never been one to socialize, and if it were not for Sneer, Agent would have moved into the rank of loner long ago. He flicked his icy gaze away from Mux, sighing, his tone bordering on frustration.
“Tell me what you want, or leave me alone.” He muttered finally, falling back into the puddle with a small splash. After all, he had been there first as a pup would say, so it was his spot. And a little omega wasn’t going to take his spot from him.
Note// It's done! Huzzah!
